Overview
Join an inspiring village school project that began in 2012 and was built entirely by volunteers under the guidance of local leadership. The school provides free education to over 200 children from nearby villages, many of whom rely on this support. The children, who attend public school in shifts, come to this school voluntarily, eager to learn in their free time.
Though teaching usually takes place in traditional classroom settings, flexibility and creativity in lesson planning are encouraged. Volunteers work alongside local teachers or fellow participants, with smaller group activities and personalized support available for students needing extra help. Volunteers will undergo an orientation to determine their specific teaching assignment and class size.
