Overview

Do you want to do something different and meaningful with your vacation this year? Would you like to travel to the exotic island of Bali and volunteer teaching English? Bali is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. However, thousands of families in Bali still remain very poor and cannot afford to send their children to good English schools. The poor kids thus attend overcrowded and underfunded public schools where proper English education is hardly available. Without knowledge of English, they are unable to get good paying jobs or enter the lucrative tourism industry, this hindering their success in life.

In the teaching volunteer program, you will work independently or with a local teacher to teach English to local Balinese students. You will also help plan lessons and come up with creative and interesting ideas for learning. You will inspire the youngsters to achieve their dreams lead fun extracurricular activities such as games, songs and dances for the children.Your work will contribute to a bright and happy future for the underprivileged children as they use the English skills they learn to achieve success in life. You will greatly improve their chances of employment within the competitive job market.
