Overview

You’ll have the chance to assist with restoration and construction efforts at schools, children's homes, rehabilitation centers, the KAT Centre (Kathmandu Animal Treatment Center), a residence for disabled children, and a women's empowerment center. Your base for the project will be in Kathmandu, at our central location.

Your daily tasks will mainly involve outdoor construction and renovation work, such as dismantling damaged structures, building walls, painting, carpentry, and installing fencing around school grounds.

Location
Kathmandu, the capital and largest city of Nepal, is a fascinating place. The blend of crumbling buildings, the scent of incense, vibrant street vendors, historic temples, and breathtaking mountain views will captivate your senses. Once a royal city alongside Bhaktapur and Patan, Kathmandu's highlight is Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site filled with temples and monuments of all shapes and sizes. This valley is the heart of Nepal’s history, where kingdoms rose and fell, and where Nepali art and culture flourished.
