Overview

This project focuses on conserving mangrove plantations and reversing the recent decline of mangrove habitats. Success depends on educating younger generations and actively planting new mangroves.

As a volunteer, you’ll help protect the coast by slowing storm surges, reducing beach erosion, and cleaning the beaches. You'll also lead environmental conservation training for children. To tackle waste issues, you'll assist in making Eco-bricks from collected plastic waste.

We’ve chosen Moringa trees for our tree-planting efforts due to their health benefits, ease of growth, and importance in local culture. Moringa, or the "miracle tree," is widely used in local diets and traditional medicine.

This program suits those with a good level of fitness, enthusiasm, and a passion for making a positive environmental impact. Your tasks will include coastal cleanups, mangrove planting, preparing educational materials, teaching conservation, and supporting the community's Clean and Green initiatives.
