Overview
Are you planning a volunteering trip to South Africa? Are you passionate about helping low-income children live a better life?
South Africa is one of the most beautiful countries in Africa having a rich history, diversity of flora and fauna, wine vineyards, sandy beaches and amazing wildlife. However, due to poverty, unemployment, diseases and several other causes, the people from poor family backgrounds struggle to lead a healthy and harmonious life. As a result, the children do not get adequate care and support from these families and often left to fend for themselves while parents are at work. IFRE teams up with local childcare centers to offer quality care and education to these underprivileged children so that they grow up well.
When you join this program, you will work with disadvantaged children in Cape Town. Your role will be to teach basic English, Maths, Science, and other subjects of interest. You will also provide daily care to the children, prepare meals for them, engage them in playtime activities, and educate them on personal hygiene and safety rules. You will also organize extracurricular activities such as games and art and music activities.
Be a part of this program to brighten the lives of the disadvantaged kids and for the betterment of their future. The education of youth is essential to success and to strengthen local communities. The time you spend teaching these children now will last a lifetime and have a widespread positive impact on their families and communities.
