Overview
Do you have a soft spot in your heart for children and thirst for adventure? Are you looking for a safe way to travel and experience beautiful Tanzanian wildlife in their natural habitat while helping those in need? Many people in Tanzania struggle with extreme poverty, disease and other social social issues, and this greatly hurts the children. Many children are neglected by their families and are left to fend for themselves. These poor children lack education or any form of assistance, and they usually end up working as child laborers. This traps them in a cycle of poverty leaving them unable to come out of their tragic circumstances.
In this program, you will provide assistance to the children at the orphanage and the local staffs in a variety of ways. You will help provide daily care to the children, prepare their meals and help them with their homework. You will impart English skills to the children and educate them about important life skills and personal hygiene. You will also conduct and organize various fun activities and excursions and provide much needed encouragement to the children. By joining this program, you will help the children to come out of their tragic circumstances and enable them to have a positive outlook on life. Your support will create a safe and supportive environment for the children and the skills you provide them will help them have a better future. You will get an eye opening experience and feel fulfilled knowing that you have make a meaningful difference in the lives of these poor children.
