Overview
Do you want to gain medical volunteer abroad experience? Are you seeking an opportunity to explore a fascinating country while serving poor families and children? A large population of Uganda struggle with basic needs including access to basic healthcare services due to poverty and other unfortunate circumstances. They also lack health education causing many diseased to become a major epidemic. The government is also struggling to provide adequate access to healthcare to all its citizens, and the local hospitals and clinics are unfunded and understaffed.
By joining this program in Uganda, you will offer various health and medical services to people in disadvantaged areas by working under the guidance of local medical staffs in hospitals and clinics. Your task include conducting outpatient procedures, conduct tests and take vitals, treatment of minor injuries, providing antenatal services, educating people regarding nutrition, hygiene and family planning. Your duty may vary as per your educational qualifications and experience. This program presents a wonderful opportunity for those aspiring to gain a practical hands-on medical experience while helping the disadvantaged people of Uganda. By shadowing doctors and assisting them during treatments, you will increase your own medical knowledge that will surely further your medical career. By providing much needed medical attention, you will relieve many people in need from their suffering and make vast a difference in their well-being.
