Overview
Are you passionate about helping underprivileged children to make a difference in their lives? Do you dream of visiting Uganda? Uganda, like many other African countries suffers from extreme poverty and the poor are affected by diseases and various social issues. Due to these tragic circumstances, many families are unable to feed their kids end up abandoning them. There are thousands of orphans in Uganda currently and they are in danger of being abused and falling into the wrong path. But, the local orphanages are overcrowded and lack the necessary manpower and resources to cater to these unfortunate children.
In this program, you will support the children in a variety of ways. You will assist the local staffs with maintenance of the orphanage, provide the children with daily care, help prepare their meals and educate them on hygiene and important life skills. You will also teach English to the children and organize extra-curricular activities to help in their well-rounded development. You will also support the children emotionally and provide them with encouragement, laughter and happiness. You will create a supportive environment for the children who have gone through tragic circumstances and help them thrive. The selfless love you provide them will ensure that they have a normal childhood and the inspiration you provide them will motivate them to move towards a positive future. You will also provide much needed relief to the local staffs and gain unforgettable memories with the children.
