- Day 1 - Arrival & Personalised Airport Pickup
You’ve arrived in Australia, now let’s get you to the world’s most livable city!
Everyone at Welcome to Travel knows jet lag, so we want to make your arrival as stress-free as possible. With that in mind, we'll organize a personal airport shuttle for you. Early in the morning or late at night, it doesn’t matter, we’ll be there waiting for you. From there we’ll take you straight to the hostel so you can rest up and chill.
Before your arrival your guide will have been in touch with your personalized Melbourne Mini Pack Itinerary so you can prepare for the next few days.
- Day 2 - Meet Your Guide, Get Set Up & Explore Melbourne!
This is the day you will meet your Welcome to Travel guide! Your guide will organise your Sim Card, Bank Account and Tax File Number before taking you on a personalised walking tour to explore this incredible city.
Highlights of our walk will include mind-bending street art, quirky laneways, our famous cafe culture, sport fever and a whole load of cool history too!
Make sure your Instagram game is on point and you have the # at the ready!
- Day 3 - Work & Travel Help
Life admin days are essential and sometimes boring, but not this one. This is as exciting as it gets as it’s time to chat about what’s next on your Aussie adventure! You’ll get a one-on-one meeting with your guide, a guaranteed expert in all things travel and working in this beautiful country.
Whether you need accommodation, are looking for work or want help planning the perfect trip, we’ve got you covered.
This day is about you feeling 100% ready, relaxed and excited to take on Australia!
- Day 4 - Discover More of Melbourne & Party!
We’ve shown you some of our favourites, but now you have a bit of free time to discover at your own pace. Don’t worry, you’re not on your own as we’ve got plenty of tips and advice for how to spend your free time in Melbourne. Whether it’s a secret gaming bar, more hidden street art, the best cake shops or how to get to the colourful beach huts, we’ll show you how to find them!
After a big day, do sunset the right way and grab your Eureka Skydeck ticket (included) and view Melbourne in all her glory, from 285 meters high.
You will also get a ticket to Melbourne's largest bar crawl, so you can experience the city's nightlife. This runs every Saturday night and is a night to remember!
