  • Day 1 - VENICE – POSTOJNA – BLED

    Meet your English speaking guide at Piazzale Roma in Venice.
    At 09:00 hours we shall board minivan or coach and start our exciting journey through Slovenia and Croatia. Our first stop is Postojna Cave, the most popular tourist attraction in all of Slovenia and one of the world’s largest karst attractions. After a train ride through the stunning subterranean world of Postojna Cave, we’ll have lunch and proceed towards Bled. The historic town of Bled and its surroundings rank it among the most beautiful regional Alpine resorts, renowned for its mild, healing climate and thermal lake water. We will take a traditional Pletna boat to the small island situated in the middle of Lake Bled and visit the island’s iconic 15th century Church of the Assumption.

  • Day 2 - BLED – BOHINJ LAKE – JULIAN ALPS

    After breakfast, we’ll continue exploring the enchanting mountain region of Slovenia. Our trip now takes us to Bohinj Lake, where we shall visit a very attractive 700 years old Church of St. John the Baptist, surrounded by enchanting Bohinj Lake.
    Bohinj Lake is a glacial formation, very different from Bled Lake. Surrounded by dense and high Alpine forest, this lake simply radiates peace. We will take a cable car ride to the top of the Mount Vogel, where we’ll admire a stunning view of the lake and entire Julian Alps mountain range, with the highest Slovene peak of Mt Triglav, impressively rising above the entire region.
    This afternoon we will have a traditional Slovenian lunch at the local restaurant before going back to our hotel in Bled.

  • Day 3 - BLED – LJUBLJANA – ZAGREB

    Following breakfast, we’ll drive to the Slovenian capital of Ljubljana, for a guided walking tour of its beautiful and charming Old Town. A guide will walk us through Ljubljanica River, through the historic three bridges square and city’s main cathedral.
    After relaxed time in Ljubljana, we will have lunch at a local restaurant in the center of Ljubljana. In the afternoon we’ll depart to Zagreb, where we expect to come in the evening. Overnight in 4* hotel in Zagreb.

  • Day 4 - THURSDAY: ZAGREB

    After breakfast, we’ll have a Zagreb city tour. We will visit fortified Upper Town – the city’s historical center, St. Mark’s church with its multicolored roof, the Cathedral, the Croatian National Theater and University. A bustling Mittel-European capital, Zagreb can offer plenty to its visitors: the Baroque atmosphere of the Upper Town, picturesque open-air markets, diverse shopping facilities and abundant selection of crafts. Zagreb is also known for its green parks and green promenades.
    We’ll lunch in Zagreb, tasting traditional Zagorje cuisine. After lunch, you can enjoy a relaxed afternoon on your own in the Croatian capital.

  • Day 5 - ZAGREB – PLITVICE – ZADAR

    Following a hotel breakfast, we’ll continue our tour that now takes us to Plitvice National Park. We shall be there around 10:30 am and start our tour of Plitvice National Park, situated in the mountain region of Lika.
    Back in 1979, Plitvice Lakes was first Croatia’s site to be included in UNESCO’s List of World Natural Heritage. It is widely regarded as one of Europe’s most beautiful nature parks, whose incredible system of lakes and waterfalls never ceases to amaze visitors from around the world. After exploring Plitvice Lakes, we will have traditional Lika county lunch with local specialties. In the late afternoon, we’ll drive all the way to the Adriatic coast, to Zadar.

  • Day 6 - ZADAR – KRKA – SPLIT

    After breakfast, we’ll have a Zadar city tour that includes Roman Forum from the 1st century and St. Donatus Church from the 9th century. After some relaxed time and lunch en route, we will proceed to National Park Krka, the seventh National Park in Croatia. Upon arrival, we’ll head for the last and most beautiful set of falls, named Skradinski Buk. This waterfall falls from a spectacular multi-level cascade, over travertine cliffs. We’ll pay a visit to the Ethno-village with its old mills, enjoying the view of the foamy waterfall Skradinski Buk along the way. Afterward, we’ll depart to Split where we expect to come by 18:00 hours, just in time to board your cruise and meet our crew and your future fellow passengers. You are now ready for your Croatian island-hopping adventure!
