Castles of southern Estonia

Departure from Tallinn in the morning at 08.00 (Sosa-Cola Plaza). During the trip, the guide will introduce you to Estonian history and travel information. The first rest stop in Kyukita is at a roadside cafe.

Then we will visit the ancient town of Paide - the "heart" of Estonia, after which our path lies to the south.

We are waiting for: the remains of the Karksi fortress of the 13th century, the Taagepera castle, the mausoleum of the famous commander of the Patriotic War of 1812, General - Field Marshal Barclay de Tolly, the pearl of southern Estonia - a small copy of Windsor Castle - Sangaste Castle, which was built by Friedrich Georg Magnus von Berg.

Then we will see Lake Pühajärve and stop at Otepää. There will be a short excursion and free time to eat and relax in a nearby cafe. After rest, we set off on the way back, on the way we will stop in Põltsamaa. Return to Tallinn at about 20.00.
