Snowmobiles in Arctic Circle Wilderness with Glass Igloo

Welcome to Rovaniemi! We will pick you up either from the train station or the airport and take you to our snowmobile base. There you will be equipped with the appropriate winter gear, get first instructions and off you go! You will drive through the snowy forests and over frozen lakes to your exclusive accommodation! On the frozen lake, a cosy glass igloo awaits you, equipped with a small kitchen, toilet and double bed, where you can relax comfortably and marvel at the northern lights above you. But before that, warm up after this adrenaline-packed snowmobile ride with a one-hour sauna and Jacuzzi experience. Afterwards, a delicious salmon BBQ awaits you. Fill your belly, warm yourself by the fire and take in the Lapland wilderness before snuggling under the warm duvet.

Start the day with a traditional Lapland breakfast! Afterwards your guide will take you to the typical pastime of the locals, ice fishing. Follow your guide by snowmobile to the best spot where you can pull the biggest and most magnificent specimens out of the lake. Drill your own hole through the up to 2-metre thick ice cover, choose the right bait and wait patiently for the first bite. Let your guide show you how to prepare the catch properly and grill it over an open fire.

After ice fishing, you return to your accommodation, where you have the opportunity to warm up in the sauna. Before you go hunting for northern lights, enjoy a chicken BBQ at your accommodation.

There are many ways to get out of town and see the Aurora, but nothing is more adventurous than hunting for the Northern Lights by snowmobile. A ride through the snow under the starry sky is one of the most exhilarating experiences.

Your destination is a fire pit on the magical frozen lake of the Arctic. Your guide will tell you stories about the spectacular phenomenon of the Northern Lights as you wait for them to appear overhead.

After the Northern Lights hunt, you will have another chance to watch them from your glass igloo! Good night!

Enjoy breakfast before heading to the husky farm by snowmobile. After snowmobiling, you will also get to know the next traditional form of transport, the ride on a husky sled. The owner of the husky farm will tell you everything you need to know about the breeding, life and training of these adorable four-legged friends. Afterwards, you will have the pleasure of manoeuvring your own sledge through the snowy trails on the 10 km safari. After the ride, you can warm up with warm blueberry juice in a kota, a traditional wooden hut.

But don't worry, the day is far from over! Because it's already on to Santa's Village by snowmobile! Visit Santa in person, take a photo with him and Rudolph, cross the Arctic Circle and have lunch at Santa's restaurant.

Afterwards, take a snowmobile ride from Santa's Village to your next accommodation. Either Appuka Resort or equivalent.

On the morning of your last day, a delicious breakfast buffet awaits you. Make the most of it. Afterwards, your snowmobile trip is unfortunately already over. We will take you to either the train station or the airport in Rovaniemi and say goodbye to you.
