- Day 1 - Arrival in Accra
On arrival at the Ghana Airport, group will have to present a negative PCR test result. Also undergo a mandatory COVID test.
A local representative will meet you for a transfer to the hotel. - Day 2 - Accra City Tour
Set out for an introductory tour of Accra through the principal streets of the city. Start with a visit to the Artists Alliance Art Gallery to see contemporary African art.
Visit the Osu Castle, also known as Christiansborg, which was originally built by the Danes. Also visit the other two surviving European. Continue with a walking tour to Independence Square to the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum, the final resting place of the first President of Ghana. End the day’s tour with a visit to the Arts Centre for National Culture.
In the evening, we will visit the vibrant Osu night market. - Day 3 - Accra to Kumasi & the Boti Falls
Depart for Kumasi through the mountainous Akwapim region.
Hike to the Umbrella Rock.
Continue to the Boti waterfalls for a refreshing dip
On arrival, experience nightlife in the Garden City - Day 4 - Kumasi Cultural Experience
Start the day with a visit to the Kejetia Market, the largest open air-market in West Africa with women at the helm of affairs.
Visit the craft villages of Ntonso, a village famous for Adinkra design. Learn the process of Adinkra printing from a local Master.
Continue to the village of Adanwomase to meet the Queen mother amidst drumming and dancing.
Interact with locals and learn traditional skills like Kente weaving, palmwine tapping, and farming.
End the day at the Kumasi Cultural Centre, which offers a good account of the rich Ghanaian culture, provides evidence of the Ashanti Kingdom's eminent past. It houses the Prempeh II Jubilee museum, which provides a fascinating collection of Asante’s history. - Day 5 - Kumasi to Cape Coast & Assin Manso
Start the day with a visit to the Manhyia Palace, the seat of the Ashanti Kingdom. Its large courtyard holds statues of past great Kings and Queens of the Ashanti Kingdom.
Set off for the Central Region with a stopover at the Ancestral River Park in Assin Manso, where people from the northern parts of Africa and Ghana, were taken for a last bath in the "Donko Nsuo" slave river, before being sent off to the dungeons of our coastal slave castles for shipment to the "New World". - Day 6 - Cape Coast & Elmina Castles
This morning, we visit Kakum National Park, comprised of undisturbed, virgin rainforest for a tour on the canopy walkway, the longest and highest of its kind in West Africa. The forest provides an opportunity to see much of Ghana's indigenous plant life, as well as its rare butterflies, birds and other wildlife.
Continue to the Cape Coast Castle (Fort Carlsborg), one of the best-preserved in Ghana and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is located in a thriving fishing port where hundreds of huge wooden fishing canoes are anchored. Also experience a walk through the ancestral Cape Coast township. - Day 7 - Cape Coast to Accra & an Elmina township tour
Visit a nearby village for a naming ceremony, where participants will receive traditional names amidst drumming & dancing.
Continue to Elmina for a township tour which will include a visit to the Elmina Castle, another well preserved castle for a tour through the slave dungeons and the door of no return.
Experience a walk through the colonial Elmina township to visit the fishing harbour, the fish market, Fort Jago, the Dutch Cemetery and the Asafo Shrines, where warriors prepared mentally and spiritually before going to war.
Return to Accra with a stopover at fantasy coffin makers.
End the day with a farewell dinner and a live band performance - Day 8 - Accra Arts & Shopping Day Departure
Start the day with last minute shopping through Accra.
Visit the herbal and textile sections of the Makola market, also to experience the hustle and bustle of our local market. Also visit the Wild Gecko Handicraft shop, Woodin, Global Mamas, etc.
Have lunch at a local restaurant with local cocktails.
Check into airport for departure in the late afternoon.

- The rates are based on a minimum group size of 4 adults based on double occupancy
- Itinerary and rates can be modified to accommodate any group size or budget
- Rates are based on 3 & 4 star accommodation but can be changed to suit group's preferences
- In cases where there is only one person in a room, that person will pay a single supplement of $420.00
