Overview
The Italian business course "B" lasts for 6 hours each day. In the morning (from 9 am to 1 pm), the focus is on grammar and language structure. In the afternoon, the emphasis shifts to the practical application of the language.
During the course, specific materials and themed conversations are used. If you want, the lessons can be tailored to situations related to your work or the specific field where you need Italian. You can bring relevant materials from your work, preferably in Italian or English.
Vocabulary lessons are taught by experts in the respective fields. Here's how the course specializes for different professionals:
Executives and Business People: A teacher of economics covers terminology related to financial reports, marketing, import-export, and the commercial policies of Italian industries, insurance companies, and banks.
Secretaries: Learn to compose business correspondence on topics like inquiries, offers of merchandise, complaints, and reminders. They also get training in using sentences and expressions commonly used in telephone conversations.
Lawyers and Social Workers: Vocabulary lessons are conducted by an expert in jurisprudence. This includes Italian civil and criminal law, laws related to commerce (contracts, bankruptcy, agreements), and family laws (marriage, adoption, divorce, inheritance).
Translators and Interpreters: The program involves analyzing and composing texts in various fields, such as commerce, politics, economics, literature, and science, based on your specific work area.
