Discover the famous and lesser-known national parks of Kenya! In addition to the endless grasslands of the Masai Mara, travel to the lesser-known national parks and reserves where wildlife roam freely. In Meru, observe huge herds of elephants and discover an astounding variety of wildlife in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Samburu National Reserve, Aberdares National Park, and Lake Nakuru National Park.

  • Day 1 - Nairobi Arrival

    On the arrival at the Airport, you will be transferred from Nairobi airport to your hotel in a private vehicle.
    Spend time downtown! As the largest city in East Africa, you can experience contemporary urban African life with colorful street markets, authentic African cuisine, and buzzing nightlife. Dinner and overnight at The Eka Hotel

  • Day 2 - Nairobi – Ol Pejeta Conservancy Game Drives

    After breakfast, we will proceed to Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Ol Pejeta is a private wildlife conservancy, situated between the foothills of the Aberdares and the magnificent snow-capped Mount Kenya, and has one of the highest density of wildlife in Kenya and boasts an astounding variety of animals, including the “Big Five“.
    You will experience stunning wildlife sightings against the evocative backdrop of Africa’s Great Rift Valley on game drives in Kenya’s Central Highlands. The breathtaking vistas of the Ol Pejeta conservancy are set amid the Aberdares foothills at one end and Mount Kenya on the other. It is extremely rich in the large and small game as well as exotic birds, including the Big 5. Expect to spot endangered rhinos, Savanna elephants, lions, buffalo, endangered chimpanzees, zebra, giraffes, gnus, ostrich, ibis, pelicans, eagles, and many more on thrilling game drives! The best time for game drives is in the early mornings when the animals are particularly active and in the late afternoons when the sun paints incredible colors across the horizon. If staying overnight inside the conservancy, you also have the opportunity for exciting night drives to observe rarely spotted nocturnal wildlife. Dinner and overnight at the Falcon Hotel.

  • Day 3 - Ol Pejeta Game Drives, Bushwalk

    Experience the thrill of getting up-close with nature and wildlife on game walks with our renowned bush guide. Visit the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary to catch these highly endangered mammals thrive in their local habitat. You could also drop by the Endangered Species Enclosure and bond with a baby rhino while acquainting yourself with the world’s last remaining three northern white rhinos. Evoke all your natural faculties as you learn how to track lions in the wild. Visit the local community to learn more about rural culture and heritage, as you relish an authentic Kenyan meal prepared by the local villagers. Dinner and overnight at the Falcon Hotel

  • Day 4 - Ol Pejeta - Meru National Park

    After breakfast we will proceed to Meru National Park, arrive at the hotel relax, and have lunch.
    In the afternoon you will have a game drive and experience spectacular sightings of elephants, hippo, buffalo, big cats, and a host of other wild animals on game drives in the Meru National Park of northern Kenya. The Park is crisscrossed by numerous rivers, creating a range of diverse ecosystems, including savannah and bushland as well as swamps and riverine forests. Look out for the reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, and oryx that Meru is famous for. Morning and afternoon safaris offer the best opportunities for spotting animals and birds, including countless exotic species that flock to the Meru. Dinner and overnight at Ikweta Safari Camp.

  • Day 5 - Meru National Park – Samburu National Reserve

    We will have early morning game drive at Meru National Park till noon, after lunch, we’ll head to Samburu, a park rich in wildlife with its rare northern species known as the Special 5, which include; the gerenuk and Beisa oryx. You’ll head to Samburu Game Lodge, arriving in time for evening tea. Dinner and overnight Samburu Game Lodge

  • Day 6 - Samburu National Reserve Game Drive

    Samburu is a very scenic but lesser-known park and is situated along the Uaso Nyiro River that attracts wildlife from the surrounding savannah plains. This is a semi-arid area and can become quite hot but the park is rich in wildlife and is home to a number of large predators including cheetah, lion, and leopard. You may also opt to spend the entire day exploring the reserve with packed picnic lunch. A visit to a cultural village will be organized if you are interested. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

  • Day 7 - Samburu National Reserve – Aberdare National Park

    You will have breakfast and thereafter depart for Aberdare National Park arriving in good time for lunch at Aberdare Country Club the base hotel for The Ark Lodge. After lunch, you will be transferred to The Ark for game viewing and overnight at the lodge. In the afternoon, you will have time at leisure game viewing from the balcony of the lodge for the animals that come around the waterholes until evening. Note- you only need a soft bag with overnight essentials. You will also say goodbye to your guide since you will not be seeing them until the next morning as the lodge driver guides take charge. Dinner and overnight at the Ark Lodge

  • Day 8 - Aberdare - Lake Nakuru

    You will have morning tea before being transferred to the base hotel Aberdare Country Club for breakfast and thereafter connect with your driver-guide. En route, you will have a picnic stop over at the Thomson Fall and the Equator before proceeding to Lake Nakuru National Park and arriving in time for lunch. Later after time at leisure, you will have an evening game drive from 1600hrs returning to the Lodge after sunset for dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge

  • Day 9 - Lake Nakuru – Maasai Mara (Traditional Village visit)

    After breakfast, you will depart to Maasai Mara driving further through the Great Rift Valley to arrive in time for lunch.
    In the afternoon after lunch, we will take you to Maasai village. Experience the time-honored Masai way on this excursion to a traditional Maasai village. Expect to be greeted by Masai warriors upon your arrival, where you join the men in herding cattle. Watch a typical Masai ritual of blooding cattle amid a quintessential Kenyan landscape. Walk down to the village of mud and wattle huts, or ‘manyattas’, tucked into the beautiful valley. Enjoy traditional Masai song and dance performances by the village women and children, before joining a village elder over a cup of tea. Learn all about the traditions and cultural beliefs of the Maasai from the old warrior. You also get a chance to help the villagers build a brand new manyatta. Learning the art of making Masai jewelers, which you can cherish as keepsakes from this memorable day. Dinner and overnight at the Jambo Mara Safari Lodge.

  • Day 10 - Explore Maasai Mara National Reserve

    Early breakfast followed by a full day of game drive within the reserve. The Maasai Mara is famous for its black manned lions, elephants, and buffalo that make three out of the ‘big five’ though luck is essential for spotting the other two. We will cater for a picnic lunch at the hippo pool where with luck you may spot crocodiles basking on the rocks. Numerous plains game including antelopes, wildebeest, zebra, Masai giraffe can be seen as well as scavengers like hyena and vulture. Dinner and overnight at the Jambo Mara Safari Lodge.

  • Day 11 - Maasai Mara – Nairobi

    Have an early morning game drive returning for breakfast at the camp. After breakfast, check out and depart by road to Nairobi. Drop off at the hotel or Airport
