Overview
A real adventure in the heart of the Manambolo River. Discover the beautiful scenery of the Highlands before heading down the river with smiling villagers. Then, we head to the Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park, one of the best sites in the World! The area contains different species of lemurs, birds and endemic plants. We continue towards the famous baobab Avenue at sunset before arriving in the town of Morondava.
- Day 1 - Arrival in the capital
On your arrival at Ivato airport, meeting with our team, presentation of your tour program and handing over of your travel documents. Transfer to the hotel where you will spend the night.

- Day 2 - Departure to join Lake Ampefy and Tsiroanomandidy
Departure for Ampefy west of Antananarivo. Crossing the volcanic and hilly landscapes of the Itasy region. Detour to the Amparaky Geyser resulting from the phenomenon of artesian wells, and not volcanic geysers, therefore favorable for swimming. Continue the visit to the fall of the Lily and discover its famous legend. Incomparable to other falls, 26m high, it comes from Lake Itasy. Lunch then drive to Tsiroanomandidy where we cross convoys of carts to zebus who bring their crops to the large market. Night at the hotel.

- Day 3 - Drive to Bongolava
We take a path that crosses a landscape of hills and valleys before reaching the village of Beamboaty. Then we go into the wild Bongolava massif where only a few collectors dare to venture. In the afternoon, we reach the western side of the massif which dominates the great plains where the Manambolo river meanders. We finish with a short 30 minutes walk to reach our bivouac at the edge of a waterfall.

- Day 4 - Ankavandra hike and start of the canoe trip
With our porters we go down from the massif to the village of Ankavandra. This is the starting point of our canoe trip. The boatmen and the cooks are all natives of this village and will be pleased to make you discover the different cultures of the territory. In the afternoon, after the traditional "fomba" (ritual) we start our navigation. The convoy of canoes stretches out, letting itself be guided by the current. At the end of the day, bivouac on the sandbanks.

- Day 5 - Canoeing on the Manambolo River
The course of the river gets lost in its sand bed and forces us to follow the boatmen who indicate the canal to follow. Sometimes stretched between two hills, the river runs along small cliffs from which clear water gushes out. The fishermen offer us their fish. Here and there, the harvests on the silt can be seen on the banks.

- Day 6 - Continuation of the Manambolo Canoe trip
The whole life of the river unfolds before our eyes, to the languorous rhythm of nature and the current that carries us away. The landscape changes as we approach the Bemaraha massif. We enter the hills of the mountain. The houses disappear little by little. We arrive in the Bemaraha gorge.

- Day 7 - Arrival in Bekopaka
In the morning, we explore on foot a canyon surrounded by vegetation. The river has dug a succession of natural pools and the clear water invites us to swim. In the afternoon, we return to our canoes and our advance is made in the impressive silence of the gorges or echoes the cries of the parrots.

- Day 8 - Visit of the famous Tsingy of Bemaraha
In 4X4, we will explore an exceptional site, the "Tsingy de Bemaraha", a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1990. Their sharp peaks that form the limestone massif reach up to 40 metres. Limestone rocks formed by a deposit of fossils and shells that died under the sea two hundred million years ago, the Tsingy of Bemaraha offer one of the most spectacular landscapes of the Big Island. The Tsingy of Bemaraha are part of the network of National Parks of Madagascar. The proposed tours are different according to the physical condition of the visitors: the Andamozavaky tour and the Ranotsara tour, which is quite difficult (four to six hours of walking) are the circuits of the great open spaces, dizziness and strong sensations. The hike starts 17 km north of the village of Bekopaka to reach gigantic limestone cathedrals, dense networks of faults, deep crevices, limestone blocks carved into blades or sharp needles that make the Great Tsingy. For the more timorous, the tours of the Little Tsingy represent an interesting alternative, more moderate without being less spectacular. Picnic lunch during the visit. - Day 9 - Towards Morondava via the Allée des Baobabs at sunset
By the path we take the direction of Belo sur Tsiribihina. The first kilometres of the trail cross a dry forest and then a grassy savannah dotted with small villages. In Belo, we cross the Tsiribihina river in a traditional ferry and continue along the trail to Morondava via the famous "Baobab Alley" at sunset. Arrival in the evening.

- Day 10 - Transfer to Morondava airport for the return to the capital.
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Morondava airport and flight back to Antananarivo. Welcome by our team and lunch. Depending on the flight schedule, the possibility to visit the city centre and the upper town of Antananarivo to discover the Queen's palace and admire the panoramic view. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

- Day 11 - Exploring the city of "a thousand soldiers" and its most famous historical sites, then flight back to your home country.
After breakfast, departure for the visit of the historical remains of the capital. About twenty kilometres north of the city is the cradle of the Merina monarchy in Ambohimanga or "the blue hill". Then along the way, you will discover a centre that is committed to the education of autistic children. Lunch at the restaurant. The room is at your disposal until your departure in the evening. Day use at the hotel then transfer to the airport for the return flight.
