Overview
The capital of Sarawak is Kuching, the largest city in Borneo. The residents here fondly named their town Cat City because ‘Kuching’ translates ‘cat’ in Malay. The climate here is similar to that of a tropical rainforest, sunny and very humid most of the time. Despite being a small city, it is well known as a destination with interesting attractions that are sure to sweep you off your feet!
- Day 1 - ARRIVAL KUCHING | BRIEF CITY TOUR (L)
Meet and greet our representative at Kuching International Airport and proceed for Kuching City tour including with some interesting places of passing through China Town, Tua Pek Kong Temple, Malay Kampong, Kuching Mosque and Kuching Waterfront to view Darul Hana Bridge, the Astana, New Legislative State Assembly of Sarawak, Fort Margherita (across river) and other buildings from the past surrounding the Waterfront. A brief stop will be made at a local souvenirs outlet - Main Bazaar, and the highlight of the tour is visit to the Urang Sarawak Museum. Then lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Transfer to hotel for check in and overnight stay.
- Day 2 - SEMENGGOH WILDLIFE | CROCODILE FARM | BIDAYUH LONG HOUSE (B/L)
After breakfast, at 08:00 AM depart to Semenggoh Wildlife Centre. Afterwards, proceed to Jong’s Crocodile Farm. Spend your time going through the lifecycle of the last member of the dinosaur family from more than 1000 crocodiles bred in captivity, and watch the crocodile feeding at 1100 hours. Then proceed for lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, depart for Bidayuh Longhouse tour. A pleasant drive into the countryside with the backdrop of undulating landscapes of limestone hills and valleys covered with the greenery of rainforest offers a gorgeous sight before arriving at the longhouse. Proceed back to Kuching and free at own leisure.
- Day 3 - SARAWAK CULTURAL VILLAGE - SHOPPING TOUR (B/L)
After breakfast, at 08:30 AM depart to Sarawak Cultural Village. The 17-acre living museum depicts the heritage of the major racial groups in Sarawak, a perfect introduction to its people, its cultures and its handicrafts. A daily 45-minute cultural performance is not to be missed during the tour. Lunch will be served at local restaurant. After lunch, proceed for shopping tour which includes Kek Lapis Sarawak and Ikan Terubok before return to hotel.
- Day 4 - DEPARTURE (B)
Breakfast at hotel and transfer to the airport for departure.
