Midday we make another stop seeing the Damara-speaking people. Before we leave this area your guide will hand out some books, used clothes, shoes, etc. to the local people. The reason for doing this is because Don Tours Safaris has a charity organization called Stand with Namibia whereby clients before or after the safari if they have old clothes or books, we give these to the locals as they need them more in this area. So every time we pass by we donate because we can for the wellbeing of the locals and they have to benefit from tourism.
