Overview

Annapurna Circuit Trek route is located in central Nepal. Most awaited, admired, and popular amongst the trekkers around the world. With our team, you get a chance to have a close-up look at 10 mountains above 8000 m like Mount Dhaulagiri, Mount Annapurna, Mount Manaslu, Mount Annapurna, Mount Nilgiri, Mount Annapurna I, II, III, IV, Tilicho lake, Mt. Macchapuchhre(Fishtail). It is possible to trek in all seasons. The snow level rises in the winter. As a result, the base camp closes for safety purposes. In springtime, the huge rhododendron forests are in full bloom making the trek an extra appeal.

Annapurna Circuit Route
Annapurna Circuit Trekking is ongoing since 1977. However, the popularity of round trek around gigantic ranges has not been slowed a bit. Starting from Besisahar, headquarter of Lamjung, we inaugurate our most awaited trip of 15 days to Annapurna Round trek. This route offers trekkers several waterfalls, subtropical forest, gigantic cliffs, friendly villages, Hospitable people, cultural variety of Hindu villages at low foothills of Tibetan culture of Manang valley and lower Mustang in a gist. Chamje, Bagarchhap, Pisang, Manang, Yak kharaka, Thorung Phedi, Muktinath, Jomsom are pristine places passed one by one in the trekking period. The total trekking distance covered is approximately 160- 230 km. Suspension bridges made of steel and wood are another fascinating factor. The rumors about trek trails are fleeting negatively. But Adventure Mountain Nepal Trekking team keeps word that this tour is going to be wonderful as always.

  • Day 1 - Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m/4,592ft altitude) and transfer to Hotel.

    Adventure Mountain Nepal Trekking and Climbing’s airport arrival and departure representative will meet you at the airport as per your arrival schedule. He/she welcomes you and drives you to the hotel. Check-in hotel and take a rest or relaxation time at the Hotel. Then you can have a free excursion to know the surroundings and visit our office to get brief information about Annapurna Circuit Trekking, we also conduct an introduction program with the trekking leader and official team.
    Accommodation: Hotel or Resort as per your request.
    Meal includes breakfast in general, we prefer BB plan for your stay in cities so you can choose varieties of tastes in different restaurants around the city.

  • Day 2 - Guided tour around world’s Heritage sites of Kathmandu

    Early morning breakfast at the hotel. Our guide will pick you up from the hotel for sightseeing of World Heritage Sites. Actually, there are seven World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu and we arrange sightseeing spots according to your choice, you have to choose only 3/4 spots for a day since it is not possible to visit all places in a single day–at least 2/3 days requires having sightseeing tour of all heritage sites in Kathmandu. World Heritage Sites of UNESCO in Kathmandu are; Kathmandu Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, Swyambhunath Temple, Pashupatinath Temple, Bouddhanath Stupa and Changu Narayan Temple. In the evening we again can have pre-trek discussion.

  • Day 3 - Drive from Kathmandu to Chamje (1,410m/4,626ft altitude) via Beshisahar (823m/2,699ft)

    Breakfast at hotel then drives to Chamje via Beshisahar. During our full day drive, we can view the beautiful Trishuli River, several villages, farmlands, green high hill, and Marsyangdi River along the way. We turn right from Muglin and drive towards Dumre and then head north to reach Besisahar. After Besisahar we again continue our drive to Chamje. Before the access of road of (Besisahar to Chamje), Besisahar was the starting point of Annapurna Circuit Trekking but now the transport access to Chamje making the duration shorter.

  • Day 4 - ​Trek from Chamje to Dharapani (1,860m/6,100ft altitude)

    After having breakfast at the tea house, we begin the trek through corn, barley and potatoes farmlands then to bamboo and rhododendron forest before reaching at the village of Tal and Karte. Beautiful village Tal is located at the base of sand beach and flat land. Continue ahead following few ups and down to Dharapani village. If we are lucky, we can encounter with few wild animals in the trail.

  • Day 5 - Trek from Dharapani to Chame (2,713m/8,898ft altitude)

    After breakfast at teahouse then we follow ascends trail through forest to the west. We walk along with the beautiful panoramic view of Mt. Annapurna II, IV (7,525/24,688ft) and of course Lamjung Himal. We cross small hot spring water to reach Chame village.

  • Day 6 - Trek from Chame to Pisang (3,185m/10,446ft altitude)

    Breakfast at a teahouse. Then follow a narrow path land through the dense forest that leads us to the curved rock face. Pass dense forest and suspension bridge for several times over small rivers. Then follow an easy trail where we are surrounded by the beautiful White Mountains. After some walk we find the U-shaped valley Manang which looks like hanging between two snow peaks. Continue ahead following ups and down the trail to Pisang village.

  • Day 7 - Trek from Pisang to Manang (3,551m/11,647ft altitude)

    Breakfast at a teahouse and start walk through Upper Pisang via Geru. We can explore magnificent Himalayan glaciers throughout the trek and many snowcapped mountains. We also view Annapurna, Pisang Peak, and several other snow-capped peaks. We find unique landscapes and vegetation that make our trip even more interesting. We visit the largest monastery of Manang Barge and spend it overnight at Manang.

  • Day 8 - Rest Day at Manang

    Breakfast at the hotel viewing the beautiful and unique landscape of Manang. Today is the scheduled acclimatization day so we stay at Manang all day. As health experts suggest keep moving and stay active to adapt to the weather today, we visit Bhoja Gompa / Gangapuran Lake which makes the day enjoyable. Hike to the Vraga where we find a village monastery. We pay a visit to that monetary and Himalayan Rescue Association where we get depth information about mountain sickness and mountain rescue.

  • Day 9 - Trek from Manang to Yak Kharka (4,110m/13,484ft altitude)

    After breakfast we follow ascends trail, cross stream then climb to a village Tenki which lies just above Manang. After there we follow descends trail to the Marshyangdi valley and then turn northwest up to the valley of Jarsamg Khola. Moving ahead passing a small village, few pastures and juniper trees and climb down to the small village Ghunsa. After that we cross Small River on the wooden bridges that lead us to the ancient old Mani wall. Some walk after Mani wall we climb again uphill to reach a beautiful village of Yak Kharka.

  • Day 10 - Trek from Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi (4,600m/15,092ft altitude)

    Breakfast at teahouse then we start the trek to the foot of the pass Thorong Phedi which is a small but busy settlement that provides food and shelter to trekkers and climbers. This village is said as the base camp by trekkers and climbers. Some climber trek up to high camp today but it is safe to stay here to have a sound sleep at a lower altitude than risking sleeping in the higher altitude.

  • Day 11 - Trek to Muktinath (3,800m/12,467ft altitude) via Thorang La Pass (5,416m/17,764ft altitude)

    Early morning Breakfast at a teahouse, start walking early in the morning at 4 A.M. We have to cross Thorong La pass, the highest and main attraction point during our trek in the morning, since if we become late to cross the pass, the snow will be melted by sunlight and overall weather goes worse. We spend a short and crucial time at the pass with photographs of splendid scenery, and then the trail starts following a long descend all the way to Muktinath. Muktinath is a famous temple of Hindu and Buddhist Goddess with massive religious significant offers a grand view of Mt. Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Gangapurna, Katung, and other snow-capped peaks.

  • Day 12 - Trek from Muktinath to Jomsom (2,730m/8,954ft altitude)

    Breakfast at teahouse then we visit famous pilgrimage for both Hindus and Buddhists Muktinath temple, Vishnu temple, and Gompa. After that, we follow descends trail Jharkot. After there we follow the continuous motor road all the way to Jomsom, thus it is also an option to have a jeep drive from Muktinath to Jomsom. In the evening explore around Jomsom Bazaar and enjoy the celebration on the occasion of complete Annapurna Circuit Trekking with AMN Trekking and Climbing Team.

  • Day 13 - Fly to Pokhara. Sightseeing, boating or free for any other personal activities

    We take a morning flight to Pokhara from Jomsom. Once we reach at the beautiful lake city Pokhara, a full day feel free to have personal activities, know the surroundings, rest and relaxation, boating at Fewa Lake, etc.

  • Day 14 - Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu

    Breakfast at the hotel. Drive/fly to Kathmandu. The remaining time is to feel free for leisure and personal activities such as Shopping, markets explore, spa, massage, rest and relax can be an option. In the evening, we will have a farewell dinner together with an entire team of Adventure Mountain Nepal.

  • Day 15 - Farewell, departure transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport.

    Our airport arrival and departure representative will drop you at Tribhuvan International Airport on your scheduled flight.
