Overview
The Everest Base Camp (EBC) Trek is a world-renowned and iconic trekking adventure in Nepal. It takes trekkers to the base camp of Mount Everest, the highest peak in the world, standing tall at 8,848 meters (29,029 feet) above sea level. This trek is a dream for many outdoor enthusiasts, nature lovers, and adventurers seeking to witness the majestic beauty of the Himalayas up close.
The trek starts with a thrilling flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, a small mountain airstrip in the Khumbu region. From Lukla, trekkers follow the legendary trail through traditional Sherpa villages, picturesque valleys, dense rhododendron and pine forests, and alongside roaring rivers and glaciers. Along the way, trekkers are immersed in the rich Sherpa culture and hospitality, as they pass through villages like Namche Bazaar, Tengboche, Dingboche, and Gorak Shep.

Departure from Kathmandu
- Day 1 - Arrival in Kathmandu
On reaching departure air terminal on landing at Kathmandu / international airport. Our staff and guide receives you for short transfer to respective hotels in the heart of Kathmandu city. After checking into your rooms, getting refreshed join with other members of the treks for group briefing. Provided by our guide or trek leader, briefing includes all important subjects related to the treks, includes information of Kathmandu and hotels. Evening a group welcome dinner in an authentic Nepalese restaurants, an introduction to Nepali meals and cultures.
- Day 2 - Kathmandu to Lukla (2,860m/9,383ft) and trek to Phakding (2,650m/8,694ft)
Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (about 35 minutes)
Begin the trek and descend to Phakding, a small village along the Dudh Koshi River. - Day 3 - Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,286ft)
Trek through lush forests, cross suspension bridges, and pass through small villages.
Reach Namche Bazaar, the gateway to the Khumbu region, where you'll have your first views of Everest. - Day 4 - Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar
Rest and acclimatize to the higher altitude.
Take a short hike to the Everest View Hotel for stunning mountain vistas. - Day 5 - : Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,870m/12,694ft)
Trek through rhododendron forests with beautiful views of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and more.
Reach Tengboche and visit the famous Tengboche Monastery - Day 6 - Tengboche to Dingboche (4,360m/14,304ft)
Descend to the Dudh Koshi River and then ascend to Dingboche.
Enjoy views of Island Peak and other surrounding peaks. - Day 7 - Acclimatization Day in Dingboche
Another rest day for acclimatization.
Hike to Nagarjun Hill for panoramic views of the Himalayas. - Day 8 - Dingboche to Lobuche (4,940m/16,207ft)
Continue the trek through the Khumbu Khola valley.
Reach Lobuche, a small settlement with teahouses. - Day 9 - Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5,170m/16,961ft) and Everest Base Camp (5,364m/17,598ft) and back to Gorak Shep
Trek to Gorak Shep, the last settlement before Everest Base Camp.
After a short rest, trek to Everest Base Camp and back to Gorak Shep. - Day 10 - Gorak Shep to Kala Patthar (5,545m/18,192ft) and Pheriche (4,240m/13,911ft)
Early morning hike to Kala Patthar for sunrise views of Everest and the surrounding peaks.
Descend to Pheriche for a lower elevation. - Day 11 - Pheriche to Namche Bazaar
Trek back through Pangboche and Tengboche to Namche Bazaar
- Day 12 - Namche Bazaar to Lukla
Descend to Lukla, marking the end of the trek.
- Day 13 - Lukla to Kathmandu
Fly back to Kathmandu from Lukla.
- Day 14 - Departure from Kathmandu
After an enjoyable and most mesmerizing adventure in Nepal and around the Himalayas on Everest base camp Trek. As time for departure, our staff transfer you to international airport for flight homeward bound or to next port of call.

Important Information
Best Seasons:
The best season for Everest Base Camp is nearly all seasons of the year, except for monsoon time of mid-June to August. The right time is spring from March to May. The high season of autumn/fall, begins from September to November, interested people can visit during winter times of December to February.
But freezing temperatures during early morning, late afternoon, and night, as well in shades. Most days are clear with short sunny days for views and walks.
