- Day 1 - Arrival
Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, you will be greeted at the airport by a representative who will assist you with immigration procedures and transfer you to your hotel. Take some time to relax and acclimate to the altitude. You can explore the nearby areas or indulge in some local cuisine to kickstart your Nepalese adventure.
- Day 2 - Explore Kathmandu
Today, immerse yourself in the rich cultural heritage of Kathmandu. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Marvel at the intricate architecture, vibrant colors, and spiritual atmosphere of these ancient sites. Engage with local artisans and explore the bustling streets of Thamel, known for its shops, restaurants, and vibrant nightlife.
- Day 3 - Kathmandu to Pokhara drive

- Day 4 - Drive to Nayapul & trek to Tikhedhunga (1570M)
After breakfast, drive to Nayapul and begin your trek to Tikhedhunga. The trail offers a mix of uphill and downhill sections, passing through charming villages, terraced fields, and lush forests. Along the way, enjoy panoramic views of the Himalayas and immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the region. Reach Tikhedhunga and rest for the night in a cozy teahouse
- Day 5 - Tikhedhunga (1750M) to Ghorepani (2860M)
Today's trek takes you from Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani. Climb a series of stone steps known as the Ulleri staircase, which can be challenging but rewarding. As you ascend, the landscapes transition from subtropical forests to rhododendron and oak forests. Reach Ghorepani, a charming village situated at the foothills of Poon Hill, and enjoy the panoramic mountain views.
- Day 6 - Ghorepani (2860M) to Poonhill (3210M) to Ghandruk (2012M)
Rise early and hike to Poon Hill to witness a mesmerizing sunrise over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. The panoramic views from this vantage point are simply breathtaking and make for incredible photo opportunities. After soaking in the beauty of the sunrise, descend to Ghorepani for breakfast and continue your trek to Ghandruk. Ghandruk is a traditional Gurung village known for its rich culture, warm hospitality, and stunning views of the mountains.
- Day 7 - Ghandruk (2012M) to Pokhara
Say goodbye to Ghandruk and begin your trek downhill to Nayapul. The trail offers a mix of forested paths, terraced fields, and charming villages. Upon reaching Nayapul, board a vehicle and drive back to Pokhara. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, exploring the city, visiting local markets, or simply relaxing by the lakeside.
- Day 8 - Pokhara to Kathmandu drive
After breakfast, bid farewell to Pokhara and embark on a scenic drive back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, you have the option to visit any remaining sites you may have missed on your first day in Kathmandu or indulge in some last-minute shopping for souvenirs.
- Day 9 - Departure from Nepal after trek
The Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek will come to an end on this day, but not the memories you have with yourselves. All your photos and videos will be provided to you along with a token of love from our side. Ultra Nepal crew members will escort you towards the Airport. The journey we started as strangers, we always hope to end it as friends.
