  • Day 1 - Arrival in Kathmandu

    Upon arrival at Kathmandu airport, our team from Safe Holiday Adventure Pvt. Ltd. will be there to pick you up and transfer you to your hotel. After some rest, our experienced trekking leader will give you some useful tips and information about the trek preparation. In the evening, we will host a welcome dinner for you at an authentic Nepali restaurant where you can taste local cuisine and get to know your fellow trekkers. You will spend the night in a comfortable hotel in Kathmandu. This will be a great start to your Poon Hill Sunrise Trekking adventure with us.

  • Day 2 - Kathmandu to Pokhara (820m) by flight or drive. describe it

    On the second day of your Poon Hill Sunrise Trekking adventure, we will take a scenic flight or a drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara. The flight will take about 25 minutes while the drive will take approximately 6-7 hours. The drive will take you through picturesque landscapes and beautiful Nepali countryside. Upon arrival in Pokhara, you will have some free time to explore the city and take in the stunning views of the Annapurna mountain range. You can also take a relaxing boat ride on the serene Fewa Lake or stroll through the vibrant local markets. We will spend the night in a comfortable hotel in Pokhara, ready to begin our trek the following day.

  • Day 3 - Pokhara to Tikhedhunga (1,540m) by drive and trek

    On day 3 of your Poon Hill Sunrise Trekking adventure, we will start with an early morning drive to Nayapul, which will take around an hour and a half. From there, we will begin our trek to Tikhedhunga, which will take approximately 4-5 hours. The trail takes us through picturesque villages, lush forests, and alongside the sparkling Modi Khola river. Along the way, we will also cross the iconic Birethanti bridge, which marks the entrance to the Annapurna Conservation Area. Once we reach Tikhedhunga, we will rest and relax in a cozy teahouse, enjoying the stunning views of the surrounding mountain ranges. We will spend the night in Tikhedhunga, ready to continue our trekking adventure the following day.

  • Day 4 - Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani (2,860m)

    On day 4, we will continue our trekking journey from Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani, a beautiful village situated at an altitude of 2,860m. The trail is steep and challenging, with over 3,000 steps to climb to reach the top of Ulleri Hill. However, the incredible views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges will be well worth the effort. We will also pass through charming villages, rhododendron forests, and terraced farmland, where we will have the opportunity to interact with the friendly locals and learn about their way of life. After around 6-7 hours of trekking, we will reach Ghorepani, where we will stay overnight in a teahouse and prepare for our early morning climb to Poon Hill for the sunrise.

  • Day 5 - Hike up to Poon Hill (3,210m) for sunrise views, then trek to Tadapani (2,610m)

    Day 5 will be an early start as we hike up to Poon Hill, one of the most popular viewpoints in the Annapurna region. At 3,210m, Poon Hill offers breathtaking panoramic views of the sunrise over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. The sunrise views are truly spectacular and worth the early morning hike. After enjoying the views and taking some photos, we will head back down to Ghorepani for breakfast before continuing our trek to Tadapani. The trail from Ghorepani to Tadapani is a gradual ascent and descent through lush forests of rhododendrons, oak, and bamboo. We will pass through small villages and cross several streams before reaching Tadapani at 2,610m. Here we will stay overnight in a teahouse and enjoy dinner with views of the surrounding mountains.

  • Day 6 - Tadapani to Ghandruk (1,940m)

    After breakfast, we will leave Tadapani and descend towards Ghandruk, a beautiful Gurung village located in the lap of the Annapurna massif. The trail goes through a dense forest of rhododendron and oak trees with occasional views of the mountains. As we approach Ghandruk, we will see the traditional Gurung houses and their unique culture. We will visit the Gurung museum and learn more about their lifestyle and traditions. Overnight stay at a teahouse in Ghandruk.

  • Day 7 - Ghandruk to Nayapul (1,070m), then drive back to Pokhara

    On this day, we will leave Ghandruk and descend towards Nayapul, passing through lush green forests and small villages along the way. We will reach Nayapul and then take a private vehicle back to Pokhara. Upon arrival in Pokhara, you can rest and relax or explore the city on your own. Overnight stay at a hotel in Pokhara.

  • Day 8 - Pokhara to Kathmandu by flight or drive

    On the last day of our Poon Hill Sunrise Trek, we will leave Pokhara and head back to Kathmandu either by flight or drive, depending on your preference and itinerary. If you choose to fly, it takes around 25 minutes to reach Kathmandu, while driving takes around 6-7 hours. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel. You can spend the rest of the day exploring the city or do some last-minute shopping for souvenirs. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.

  • Day 9 - Departure from Kathmandu

    On your last day with Safe Holiday Adventure, our staff will transfer you to the airport for your departure flight. We hope you had a wonderful time trekking in the beautiful Himalayas and experiencing the rich culture of Nepal. Safe travels!
