South America Inside

I would definitely not recommend South America inside. If you’re looking for volunteering, go directly to the project (via Facebook or their website) instead of going through South America Inside.

They took almost half of the fee. The other volunteers I talked to there payed way less. If I didn’t go through South America inside I would have paid $670 ($220+$200+$125+$125=€628) in stead of the €1.205 I paid! They make it seem like there’s a lot of costs with a big donation since they only mention there’s an application fee of €150, making me think that’s the only costs you have to pay them, nor did you give any transparency about the costs. It’s absurd that they took €577 for just one phone call of less than 20 minutes, a few emails and filling in some forms. And then they take so much money and don’t even help with anything such as the flight, hostal when arriving in Quito, how to get from the airport to hostal, information about vaccines and the instruction they gave about arriving to the rescue center were really unclear and not sufficient.

It’s like stealing from charities that really need the money and doing their best to get by or stealing from people who of course prefer to pay less.

Très déçue par South America Inside...
La moitié de mon projet à l'hôpital a été annulé. En effet, les heures de travail annoncées sur le site internet ne sont pas à jour, et je n'ai pas pu aller travailler tous les jours.
De plus, après quelques problèmes sur place en Equateur, South America Inside ne m'a pas été d'une grande aide et j'ai du me débrouiller seule.
Je ne recommande pas cet organisme pour voyager et travailler à l'étranger !
