A Gem named Deryck
I wish there were 10 stars so I could give him 10. I ordered a taxi and driver to take my husband, my sister and I from Ch. Ch. To St. Lucy, and this very courteous driver named Deryck was there five minutes before the appointed time. On seeing us and wearing his mask, he stepped out of the vehicle to open the doors for each of us. I WAS IMPRESSED!! Along the way, we encountered a few accidents, but he never lost his cool and always found another way to take us to our destination. Realizing we were not sure where we should go when we reached our destination, he stepped out of the well-manicured car and helped us to find what we were looking for, and he remained with us to make sure we were alright. After spending 15 minutes, we were homeward bound, but it was not just a dash to get us back home, but a pleasant ride through St. Joseph as this mild-mannered gentleman pointed out places of interest to us. Words cannot describe how much we appreciated his kindness and patience as he chauffeured us through the beautiful countryside. I hope that the next time we’re in Barbados, we will have the opportunity to travel again with this wonderful gentleman.
