Overview

Explore and conserve Barcelona’s diverse coastal ecosystem while volunteering with the Catalan federation of scuba diving and marine preservation. Become PADI Open Water certified or enhance your current dive skills with select PADI. It's an enriching experience beyond the typical tourist paths that provides a chance to forge lasting connections with like-minded volunteers.

Your responsibilities include tasks such as removing trash and cleaning the seabed, gathering valuable data on native species, and evaluating the local biodiversity. If you join us during the summer months, you can also participate in camps for underprivileged children, where you'll organize informative workshops focusing on the sea and environmental awareness.

Important Information

We recommend Non-certified divers to sign up for a minimum duration of two weeks so they can take part in conservation dives.
If the instructor judges a volunteer is not fully able to dive (being sick, tired, not focused enough, hungover…) without any reimbursement.
The program includes all dive equipment except computers. Anyone with an Advanced certification who plans to take part in our optional night or deep dives MUST bring their own dive light/torch.
The price is negotiable for stays over one month.
