Our 4-day safari exploring Lake Mburo and Queen Elizabeth National Parks is one of the most popular tour packages among visitors to Uganda. These two parks are top wildlife destinations, offering a rich variety of flora and fauna, and are must-visit locations on any Uganda wildlife safari.

- Day 1 - Travel from Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Your adventure begins with an early morning departure from Kampala. Enjoy a scenic drive through the lush Ugandan countryside, with a stopover at the equator for photo opportunities and refreshments. Continue westward, arriving at Queen Elizabeth National Park in the afternoon. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and relax, soaking in the breathtaking views of the park.

Accommodation: Buffalo Safari Lodge - Day 2 - Game Drive & Boat Cruise on the Kazinga Channel
Start your day with a morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains, where you have the chance to spot lions, elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, and other savannah wildlife. After breakfast, return to the lodge to relax and enjoy lunch.
In the afternoon, embark on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a highlight of Queen Elizabeth National Park. This waterway is home to one of Africa’s largest hippo populations and offers excellent sightings of crocodiles, elephants, and numerous bird species along the shores.

Accommodation: Buffalo Safari Lodge - Day 3 - Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast, depart for Lake Mburo National Park, Uganda’s smallest savannah park but rich in biodiversity and beauty. Enjoy the changing landscapes as you travel southeast. Upon arrival, take a leisurely drive through the park as you head to your lodge. You may spot zebras, impalas, elands, and other wildlife unique to this region.

Accommodation: Rwakobo Rock Lodge - Day 4 - Walking Safari & Return to Kampala
Start your day with breakfast and take a guided walking safari, a unique and intimate way to experience Uganda’s wildlife. Accompanied by a ranger, explore the bush on foot and observe animals such as zebras, impalas, and giraffes up close in their natural habitat.
After the walk, begin your journey back to Kampala. Expect to arrive in the late afternoon, marking the end of a truly memorable safari experience.
