Overview

Uganda is a unique destination where you can witness mountain gorillas, the largest primate species. These incredible creatures are found only in two high-altitude ecosystems: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Mgahinga National Park.

Our 5-day Uganda gorilla safari takes you to hand-picked destinations, including Lake Mburo National Park, located along the Masaka-Mbarara Highway, and Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This conservation area is home to half of the world's remaining mountain gorillas, spread across four sectors: Nkuringo, Rushaga, Ruhija, and Buhoma.

  • Day 1 - Arrival and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park

    Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by our company representative who will transfer you to Bwindi impenetrable national park it is one of Africa’s oldest conservation areas lying along the , margin of the Albertine rift valley, the drive takes +/-9 hours passing through beautiful towns and villages, we will stop over in Mbarara town for lunch and later proceed to the land of Mountain gorillas we will arrive in time for dinner and staying overnight at

  • Day 2 - Gorilla trekking

    Morning breakfast after which you will be transferred to the gorilla trekking point a briefing by the Uganda wildlife authority will be done about generally the forest and mountain gorillas, in groups of 8 you will be led into the forest to start the day’s adventure walking through the forest is a magical amazing time there is more to cherry on the gorillas from the smallest insects to the angelic plant species and running rivers along the floor of the impenetrable forest, gorillas live in families of up to 20 members led by a silverback they are free and roam freely in the forest without being captivated the forest upon meeting them, you will be allowed an hour to interact, take pictures, videos while observing rules and regulations gorilla trekking time is only determined by how far different families have moved to return to the lodge for dinner and to stay overnight at

  • Day 3 - Transfer to Lake Mburo national park

    Early morning breakfast after which we will transfer to Lake Mburo national park, which is the smallest savannah conservation area in Uganda it is said to have been named after one of the 2 brothers that lived here a long time ago, and it is closer to towns and is home a good number of wildlife and birds most of the park is occupied with lakes and marshy swampy areas we will arrive in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive expect to see Rothchild’s giraffes, warthogs, elands mention a few returning for dinner and staying overnight at

  • Day 4 - Horseback riding and boat cruise

    Wake up to a morning breakfast then head to the park on a horse ride, Lake Mburo is one of the safe places to get to the bush in a long time this is a cat-free zone, and large mammals like elephants you will have a chance of getting closer to animals ridding can be done by both beginners and experts returning to the lodge for lunch and an afternoon boat cruise on the lake expect to see water mammals like hippos, birds and other species including warthogs that roam along the banks of the Lake the cruise takes 2-3 hours returning for dinner and staying overnight at

  • Day 5 - Departure

    As we say goodbye to the pearl of Africa, morning breakfast will be served we drive back to Entebbe with a stop over at the Equator for a picture moment and proceed to Entebbe for your international flight back home
