Overview
The half day Chimpanzee tour takes you to Lake Victoria for a chimpanzee tour on Ngamba Island. We catch a speed boat for a 45minutes ride on Lake Victoria to see the orphaned chimpanzees.
We participate in the feeding sessions/care giving and view them from a raised platform as they walk from the forest for their lunch, play around and again return to the forest.
Your driver will pick you up from your hotel and head to the Lake Victoria shores for a speed boat to Ngamba Island. View the chimps, feed them. Have lunch and take some drinks and again embark on a boat ride back to the Island. Meet your driver again and drive to your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe Airport for your onward flight.
- Day 1 - Day tour to Ngamba Island
We have 2-sessions:
Morning session departs from your hotel at 8am, get to lake Victoria for a speed boat to Ngamba Island. View the Chimpanzees, back at 1pm for lunch and head back to your hotel arriving by 3pm.And the afternoon session departs from your hotel at 11am, boat ride to the Island-Lunch, view the chimpanzees and catch the speed boat back to the lake shores. Expect to be back to your hotel by 5pm.
