Childcare/Teaching Volunteer Project in Ghana

St. Miracle Works Educational Foundation, SMWEF Ghana is a registered and recognized non-profit NGO and volunteer organization in Ghana. SMWEF Ghana as an organization has a unique role to play in the lives of the deprived people living in the rural communities of Ghana. As a local and native based NGO/CHARITY, SMWEF Ghana improves local morale and advances the rural economy by providing a better place to live.

A community thus learns from other communities around it and from the deeds and contributions of people or persons who visit it or interest with such society from time to time. It is from this perspective that SMWEF Ghana as an NGO, has apportioned to itself to beneficially interest and impost on the lifestyles of rural communities as to enhance their welfare, awareness building and developmental potentials and initiative to develop from their own selves.

As a childcare volunteer in Ghana, you will make a significant contribution to the daily lives of children in rural community schools, rehabilitation and care centres etc. in Ghana. SMWEF volunteer programs provides international volunteers an opportunity and a great platform to improve on the lives of young children in rural poor communities in Ghana. Volunteers will work alongside with the local staff as you provide care and needed attention to the less privileged children. Volunteers will also assist with the general childcare and daily routines/operations when volunteer with children in Ghana. Volunteers will introduce lessons to children through play, organize music and dance lessons, indoor and outdoor games, serving and feeding of children, helping children with their home works and class exercises, watching educative videos with children etc.
