Overview
On our beautiful horse farm, we are breeding the typical Peruvian Paso horses. In 1992, it has been declared a Cultural Heritage of the Nation!
As its name indicates the Peruvian Paso horse is native to Peru. It is a direct descendent of the Spanish horse brought to America by Christopher Colombus and the Conquistadores.
Because of its isolation for almost 500 years, the Peruvian Paso horse has evolved as one of the purest breeds in the world and as a unique entity in the horse kingdom. Thanks to its exquisite, innate and ground-covering gait, the Peruvian Paso horse is undoubtedly the smoothest riding horse in the world and makes even a beginner feel comfortable riding it.
The farm is surrounded by nature and there are many animals living with us. You may escape the hectic life and work with animals. You get a completely different view of Peruvian life and its tradition in the rural idyll. The farm is located on the north coast of Peru, about 8 hours from the border with Ecuador.
In the course of this stay, the participants will take care of the horses, will care and training them, if knowledge exists. If not, you can learn how to handle horses, as well as riding. You organize, plan and accompany the riding tours with the guests to the archaeological sites and temples of the pre-Inkazeit and take care of the tourists. If you do not want to work with horses, there is a lot of other work where you can take part. In addition to the horses, there are also many other animals on the farm, such as chickens, ducks, cows, a goat, rescued street dogs and cats. You can also help on the fields or with the maintenance and beautification of the farm. You can tackle wherever you are needed.
