Overview
Pod Volunteer is currently seeking volunteers to join the Elephant Care project in Thailand. This project is dedicated to the rescue of elephants from exploitative practices like logging, street begging in large cities, circuses, and elephant riding camps. The primary mission of the project is to provide these rescued elephants with the opportunity to live out the rest of their lives in a sanctuary that closely resembles their natural environment.
Volunteers actively contribute to the well-being of the elephants by engaging in tasks such as food preparation, bathing and hosing down the elephants, cleaning enclosures, and participating in the harvesting of banana trees.
