Overview
White water rafting is an outdoor adrenaline rush activity which is undertaken in rough and violent water using an inflatable raft to navigate through the waters. This tour is set in the mighty Zambezi River, in Zimbabwe. The tour stretches across 24kms which covers 24 rapids during the low water season, during high water season it covers from rapid number 11 to rapid number 23 which is approximately 18kms. The Zambezi River beneath the mighty Victoria Falls is endowed with one the most remarkable white-water areas on the planet. These areas incorporate class 4 and class 5 rapids that are ensured to awaken the daredevil inside you. The perspectives on the canyon are stunning and you will have a lot of time to take in the beautiful views of the falls and the river between rapids. It is not only an attempt to seal the deal when we state it is the best white water rafting experience on the planet. Zambezi white water rafting is indeed an experience of a lifetime. The tour is run and facilitated by highly skilled guides who are fully trained professionals endorsed by the International Rafting Federation. They all possess valid international first aid certificates so you will be in very safe hands!
This is a 10 day action packed adventure itinerary which will leave you stunned and more interested in Victoria Falls than before. The 10 days will include dining out, adventure activities, meeting the community and learning to travel to understand and learn rather than the conventional tours.
- Day 1 - Welcome
Our team will welcome you at the Victoria Falls International Airport and drive you to holiday home.
1900hrs – Official Welcome Dinner at the multi award winning and popular Traditional Restaurant – The Boma Dinner and Drumming Show at Victoria Falls.
Overnight at the holiday home - Day 2 - Adventure
0700hrs – Breakfast at the holiday home
0830hrs – You will be transferred to a half day orientation and training on Rafting and Victoria Falls as a town. The following will be covered during the orientation:
• Get-acquainted and icebreaking games
• Introduction to rafting
• The History of the Mighty Zambezi river and the gorges
• Rafting as a sport
• How to pump and rig a raft
Then you will be given your camping gear that you will use for the rest of the trip .You will be given a dry bag, sleeping bag, liner, mosquito net and pillow.
1300hrs - Lunch at a restaurant of choice (own account)
1400hrs - Guided tour of the Victoria Falls Rainforest and curio market
1900hrs – Dinner (own account)
Overnight at the holiday home - Day 3 - Adventure
0700hrs – Breakfast at the holiday home
0830hrs – You will be transferred to the campsite in Zambezi National Park
0930hrs – Orientation on how to pump and rig a raft and setting up the campsite
1200hrs – Lunch
1400hrs – Rafting intro on the Upper Zambezi
1900hrs – Dinner at the campsite
Overnight at the campsite - Day 4 - Adventure
0700hrs – Breakfast at the campsite
0830hrs – You will be driven to the rafting starting point for approximately an hour and get the opportunity to view some game. You will spend the whole day out rafting and get back to the campsite at sunset.

Overnight at the campsite - Day 5 - Adventure
0600hrs – Breakfast at the campsite
0700hrs – You will wake up quite early and destroy the camping gear and pack it back to the vehicle and drive down to the canyon.
1000hrs – You will get two hours to do some shopping as you will be deep in the bush for a few days
1200hrs - Lunch break
1300hrs – White water rafting from Rapid number 1 by going below the Victoria Falls and seeing the falls from the bottom and go up to rapid Number 11 then back to the campsite at sunset
1900hrs – Dinner at the campsite
Overnight at the campsite - Day 6 - Adventure
0700hrs – Breakfast at the campsite
0830hrs - You will continue rafting, do rock jumps, cave visits and hike until rapid no. 17.
1300hrs - Lunch
1400hrs – You will continue rafting up to rapid number 21 were you will set up a campsite
1900hrs – Dinner at the campsite
Overnight at the campsite - Day 7 - Adventure
0700hrs – Breakfast at the campsite
0830hrs – You will continue from 21 to narrows 3 and camp.
1300hrs - Lunch
1400hrs – You will go on rafting along dam side and return to the campsite were you will be given fishing gear and split into teams for a fishing competition.
1900hrs – Dinner at the campsite
Overnight at the campsite - Day 8 - Adventure
0700hrs – Breakfast at the campsite
0830hrs – You will continue rafting and now you will get to try to row some rafts and it's getting easy and exciting.
1300hrs – Lunch
1400hrs –You will continue on rowing till the end of the day.
1900hrs – Dinner at the campsite
Overnight at the campsite - Day 9 - Adventure
0700hrs – Breakfast at the campsite
0830hrs – More rowing training and heading to take out and chances are high that you will see some wild animals.
1300hrs – Lunch
1400hrs – You will drive to Victoria Falls and check in at a holiday home
1900hrs – Dinner at a restaurant of your choice (own account)
Overnight at the holiday home - Day 10 - Adventure
0600hrs – Early breakfast at the holiday home
0700hrs –Botswana full Chobe day trip, this trip includes a river cruise, 4x4 safari and lunch.
1900hrs – Closing Dinner at a local restaurant and graduation ceremony
Overnight at the holiday home - Day 11 - Departure
0700hrs - Breakfast at the holiday home
0900hrs – Check out from the holiday home
100hrs – Transfer to Victoria Falls International Airport for departure
