Conserve Natural Forests

Conserve Natural Forests (CNF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to combating deforestation, promoting wildlife conservation, and providing community education for sustainable practices in the region. Our main project site is located in Pai, a lush mountainous region in Northern Thailand. However, we are constantly growing and starting new projects all over the country, primarily in Krabi and Saturn provinces.
Our facilities in Pai span 80,000 square meters of beautiful river-front property and form an eco-corridor between a wildlife sanctuary and a national park. This former soya bean and garlic farm now boasts a lush forest, organic farm, and is home to incredible wildlife, including endangered tortoises and Kamee, a 35-year-old female Asian elephant. Our demonstration forest measures over 6,600 square meters, features over 40 species of native and endangered trees, and will help reforest 10 kilometers of forest with the assistance of returned pollinators and seed dispersers. In just 2021, we planted over 200,000 trees at community planting sites across Pai, and we aim to increase our capacity every year with the help of our dedicated staff and interns.
Tourists and locals alike are welcome to visit our site for Ecotours, where guests learn about sustainable agriculture and permaculture practices, our remarkably successful reforestation efforts, ethical wildlife experiences, and more. Various internships are also available for individuals looking to gain experience in environmental conservation, non-profit management, social media, marketing, and more.
