Reality Tours and Travel was founded in 2005 by Chris Way and Krishna Pujari. The company was initiated to use Dharavi walking tours to raise awareness about life in slums along with raising funds for local community welfare projects. The company now serves over 15000 travellers from all over the world and offers job to over 50 people. At the early days of the company, the owner Chris and Pujari began ran community welfare classes like providing English and computer classes at the slums of Delhi and Mumbai impacting over 7000 youth till the date. Later in 2011, Reality Tours began offering tours in South Mumbai with the creation of the Local Transport, Market and Night Tours.

Reality Tours and Travel specializes in offering varieties of tour packages that benefits the local communities. Major tour packages on offered are slum tours, city sightseeing tours, unique tours, day tours and multi day tours.
